Where can I find a Lamaze class in nassau

The hostpital is too far ( long story but I plan to have my baby in Brooklyn) DH's compnay in midtown offers it but i would prefer to do classes locally.

Can I call a closer hosptial?
Is it too late I'm almost 36 weeks?

any advice is appreciated...

I have someone that came to my house and did a private class, it wasnt much more than some of the other classes at hospitals....FM me if you want me details

Winthrop, LIJ, NSUH Manhasset all have classes - due to dh's schedule we decided that the class was hard to fit in - we got a video from someone who teaches at Columbia it was 4 1/2 hrs but it is divided up into 6 segements so you don't have to watch it all at once.

We went through a private instructor - if you go through a hospital they tend to instruct you the way they want you to behave for their hospital.

I can FM you info - she was wonderful!!! Class was in Great Neck.
