Do you feel guilty when you spend $
on something you wanted not needed? I bought a digital camera today but the guilt of spending the $ on it is taking all the fun out of it for me.

If I did, I'd be walking around guilty all the time. The truth is I don't feel guilty one bit! I work hard for my money and I enjoy nice things, if I bought something I knew I couldn't afford, then I would feel guilty.

It depends on what it's on. Whenever I buy clothes, shoes, electronics, I feel guilty paying full price (just because my mom and I are such bargain shoppers!). I usually get great deals so I don't feel guilty. I make good money and only spend a small portion on myself so I don't feel bad.

sometimes. BUT, if my DH is with me, i dont feel as guilty for some reason 
today we spent a crapload of money, BUT we were supposed to go away this weekend, and couldnt b/c i have a test this week, and the stupid weather.. so we just justified it as "well, its still cheaper than if we had gone away" (eventhough, i think we may have gone over that   )

When it is something for me - I usually feel guilty unless DH insisted on me going to get something for myself.
My reasoning for the most part is due to I don't work and we have CC debt. I would rather pay CC's than get myself something.

YES all the time! I have to say I feel less guilty when I find stuff on sale, but there have been times where I have returned things an hour later or less becuae I was feeling soooo guilty.

Yes and don't really make expensive purchases anymore. I just spent money on some summer clothes that I needed and felt guilty and I went totally cheap at Old Navy.

I do feel guilty because I feel like there are so many things we should be saving for -- ie a house, my daughter's christening, etc.

I don't spend a lot of money on myself. I am not into expensive clothes, make-up, bags, etc. When I do spend money I usually buy stuff that is on sale or from a place like Marshalls or TJ maxx.
We DO spend a lot of money on vacations and our house. Sometimes I can feel a little guilty about the vacations... but it is worth it. And we are splurging on a front porch for me

Sometimes yes...sometimes no. I feel more guilty when I spend money going out to eat with friends a lot. Especially when we have plenty of food at home!

Nah - I don't feel guilty. Mostly everything I buy now is for the house so on the rare occasion I splurge on myself I will def. enjoy it.
