Growth Sono-Accurate
How close were your twins weight at birth compared to when you went for your growth sonos?
My cousin had twins and was told at her sono's prior to giving birth she was going to have big babies and then delivered small babies!
TIA

Re: Growth Sono-Accurate
I think growth sonos in general are very subjective. My sis had 1 baby and the dr said he was measuring small. She was freaking out. Her son was 8 lbs when he was born a week later-----so I guess that shows that drs can be wrong!

Re: Growth Sono-Accurate
I agree - growth sonos can be off in either direction. With my son, he was measuring 7 lbs 9 oz. I delivered him a few days later at 9 lbs! So they were a pound and a half UNDER!

Re: Growth Sono-Accurate
Very inaccurate, was told 7lbs for G who ended up being 5lbs 12oz, a little peanut.
As of last visit, they claim these boys are 3lbs each and when he saw that he said, that sono can be off (meaning bigger than they are) but they were still on track.

Re: Growth Sono-Accurate
Mine were actually pretty accurate. i can't remember the actual numbers they gave me, but I wasn't shocked at DC's birth weights.
