Anyone take actifed during 1st trimester
For 2 weeks now I have been miserably sick with allergies. It is horrible. I tried every homeopathic treatment you could think of.
My dr has a safe list of Allergy meds. One of them is sudafed, I tried it and it did NOTHING.
They also said I can take actifed which has different ingredients than the sudafed so it may work better. But of course I feel like a selfish mom to be taking something in the 1st trimester (I am 9 weeks)

I took it for a day or two. I was flying the next day and had to clear up a little or I would have been in big trouble with the air pressure.

Just wanted to say.. if your Dr. said it was ok, go for it, you sound like you need relief.
Us preggos certainly don't know better than a Dr.!
