Plastic Trays and Microwaves

i was just thinking as I was heating up my Lean cuisine for lunch...these plastic trays in the microwave cannot be good for you.

thoughts?

I never use plastic in the microwave

I use a real dish. For work I have corningware to heat stuff up in

I also stopped reusing plastic water bottles and bought one that I refill

but what about the plastic that frozen meals come in - like the smartones and lean cusines - those you can't really remove from the tray Chat Icon

I dont eat anything like that but maybe you can flip it over into a plate?

I do what Tilde said even with the frozen dinners- what I do is I put them in the fridge the morning of when I plan to eat them and they pop out fairly easily into corningware when lunch time rolls around

yea i wonder about that too- I should def start doing this.

Just the fact that its #1 plastic and the plastic film over it- you're getting SO many chemicals in your food Chat Icon
