Donating Books?
I just moved, and I always knew I owned a *ton* of books, but it's really just too many-and many of them are books I read, didn't enjoy, and will never read again.
Does anyone know where I can donate a few boxes of books?
We're in Mineola if that helps.

Re: Donating Books?
Try the local library. they'll sell them in a used book sale.
There's also a place in Riverhead called The Yelllow Barn. It's literally a small yellow barn that sells used books all spring and summer. I know you said Mineola, but if you ever go out to the outlets, it's just past the outlets.
Or, see if your local school would want any. The school I'm in, the librarian takes donations of good condition books, for student use and even adult ones for the teacher collection.

Re: Donating Books?
list them on paperback swap and get credits toward getting books you're interested in
