What vitamins does your pre-schooler eat?
He hated the drops as an infant. We tried the prescription chewables from the age of 1. At nearly 3, he still won't eat them. (Have you tried them? They aren't so 'chewable') Now we have tried the store brand gummies. He says he likes them, but we find them in his cheek an hour later. We have even cut them in half. Still in his cheek.
What vitamins will a 3 year old eat?!?!? Is he the only one that has never had vitamins? (Although doctors assured me my prenatals were all he needed in his first year while I BF.)

Lily's a freak who loves all vitamins. She even loved the nasty green-brown liquid nastiness they got as infants!
We give her gummy vitamins now. She loves them also.

Aren't the gummy very chewy? That's why we feel that DS isn't swallowing them. Will he get used to them? Now he refuses to put them in his mouth. He just began to love jelly beans, but those are much softer and dissolve better in the mouth. if they made jelly bean vitamins, I AM IN!!!

My kids take the Gummi Vites and they also each take 1 tsp daily of liquid Vitamin D.

Is that liquid different than those tri-visiol drops that really smelled awful when they were infants?

The company I work for makes all the Disney Vitamins, so I get them from work and give him the Cars Gummies vitamins.
They also come in pooh and toy story and nemo (or princesses or tinkerbell for girls)

A friend of mine just suggested Animal Parade (i got them at the vitamin shoppe). I just started with them yesterday and so far so good - he seems to really like them! He was upset that he could only have 1.

DS had no problem with that meat smelling poly vi-sol nastiness...
Now he's on the prescription chewables, but I may ask if I can give him something OTC after this latest refill runs out.

Chewable Flintstones but the "MY FIRST" kind, not the regular Flintstones just yet. They are in a yellow package at Target.

I am finishing up the last of the prescription vitamin drops w/ flouride and will start the prescription chewable vitamins w/ flouride as soon as the drops are done. He loves the drops... always has... I'm hoping he loves the chewables as well.

luckily...my DD (just turned 4) LOVES the prescription chewables...she asks me for them numerous times a day and I have to explain she can only have 1 a day

the gummy ones don't have iron in them, at least none of the ones I read the labels on in the store (not sure if that matters to you). the chewables do though.
