twin movement question
i am 18.5 weeks and I just started feeling what i think is Baby A kicking (it feel like little pokes on my lower right side). I love it when i feel it!
I have not yet felt Baby B yet though and it's making em nervous.
when you guys felt your first movements, did you feel both babies at the same time or did it start out with only one? and what did the movements feel like?
thank you so much!

Re: twin movement question
It felt like twitching first and then turned into full fledged kicks. I always felt DS more. I don't know if it was DD's position, or if she just didn't move as much.

Re: twin movement question
I rarely, if ever, felt my son.
At one of my sonos the tech explained to me it was due to where his placenta was attached. It basically acted like an airbag between his kick and the outside (left side) of my uterus. I only felt him in the early morning when I was laying on my left side when hius sister would wack him repeatedly and he'd finally retaliate...lol.
I'd give it a couple of more weeks then you can ask the sono tech if there could be a reason why like placenta placement.

Re: twin movement question
It was more like little knocks or almost gas bubbles popping I felt DS a lot more than DD, at first. Really, even now there are days when I feel one a bunch and don't feel the other much (usually I feel DD less). DD is smaller than DS, so maybe that's why...
I wouldn't worry, at this point. Just ask about it at your next appointment.

Re: twin movement question
i usually dont feel both unless i feel around with my hand. i think its just hte position of the babies so sometimes one babies movements are stronger than the other.

Re: twin movement question
It's pretty much the same with me due to the placenta. I was always worried about Baby B early on since I didn't really feel him and it never looked like he was moving in the sonograms. Baby A was always kicking and punching him.
Now B a lot more active than A! I feel it from both sides but a lot more on the right.
