Where do you buy your kids backpacks?

G starts kindergarten in September and I'm already obsessing! I wanna get her something really cute!!

My kids like the ritual of picking a new one every year, so we go to TRU when they have the "buy a backpack get a free lunch box" sale!

Depends on where the sales are! I am pretty sure we got their backpacks at Bob's this year.

You can get them at Sears & they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY - so if they get torn up or ripped you can RETURN THEM to Sears & get a new one.

I STRONGLY recommend them as you can see!

I got theirs at Lands End too when they were younger. They lasted for years. Actually my sons ripped last year and they replaced it for free.

I'm getting Jack one from Lands End for K next year....my new obsession is which monogram to get on it!

I usually buy my DS backpack at LL Bean, they monogram the bags. They are very well made.

Another vote for Lands End. I love shopping their stuff for the very reason Barbara mentioned. My DS is very hard on backpacks and they always seem to get destroyed very easily. His first one fell apart before November. I got him an LE (on clearance) and it's in great shape. I also got one for DD when I saw them on clearance. They will be able to use these again next year.

Another vote for Land's End!! My oldest is ending her 3rd year with it and it is still in great shape!!

For Preschool, I let my son pick out one from Target (with a character on it).

For kindergarten, I am going to try to get him a lands end one, we will see if I win the battle.

I try Toys R Us too when they have the free lunchbag, but usually they don't have what they like.

So this past year for Kindergarten I ordered it through Target.com and it was the completely wrong bag, then we found out the Item # was completely wrong on the website so we had to find the right one, ordered that one, received it, it was damaged. Was told to keep that one, they sent another one which was thankfully fine because K was starting the following week!
