Butterflies

I'm a journalist for an online paper and after all these months I still get butterflies everytime I have to go do an interview or cold call someone for a story or approach a random person. I hope this will change over time, I'm kinda on the shy side so it's a little bit of a hurdle I have to overcome. Of course I'm writing this now as I procrastinate making a call to set up an interview!

I just needed to get that out there, no one understands they just think it's my line of work so I should be used to it, but it's not like I work for Newsday or something, it's a small paper so people are a little resistant at times when they're unfamiliar with it. OK I'm going to start dialing now....
