Has anyone had this issue with thier DC while breast feeding?
DS is only 2 weeks old and every time he feeds off the boob, he vomits A LOT!

Re: BTDT: Breastfed babies with projectile vomiting?
have you tried feeding him expressed milk? or bottle?
DS was getting a lot of gas during our early BF sessions, I think because we just didn't know how to latch. He vomited a couple of times at the worst.
I wish I could help more, for us it was all about the latch.

My son did that when he was overfed.
I was mistaking his tired cries for hunger. I figured it out when I read The Baby Whisperer.

Re: BTDT: Breastfed babies with projectile vomiting?
My 2nd DD was a projectile vomiter...she ended up having severe reflux and a milk/soy allergy. She was fine as long as I have absolutely no dairy or soy...the ped. told me for 4 weeks that it was "normal" but I knew what she was doing was not normal. She never appeared to be uncomfortable, just a "happy spitter". She actually started the vomiting in the hospital at less than 2 days old.
ETA: She was on Axid and drank from about 8 weeks onward. She had the upper GI series and a sonogram of her stomach to rule out pyloric stenosis or any other abnormalities in her digestive system.
