Confused about substitued meds
After nine million IVF cycles, my meds have always been the same...Follistim 900IU, Menopur, Gannirellix, Novarel. However, since I have Empire NYSHIP, these prescriptions have to now go through Accredo instead of Kraupner. My RE called in to Accredo and when i followed up I was told that the order was processed but not shipped out. When I "pollitely" explained that my IVF cycle was scheduled to start the next day (today) they said it was too late to get it to me and that they would transfer the prescription to Kraupner. I have just received my bag of "goodies" and am I have a zillion boxes of Follistim 600IU, boxes of Repronex and boxes of Cetrotide...is this all the same stuff but with different names? I get the sense that something was lost in translation between Accredo and Kraupner. Luckily I have meds left over from last cycle which I used but I am really just staring at all these meds and scratching my head....plus I assume one of these meds is gannarelix but I never had to store my gannarelix in the fridge and this one I do....I actually had to remove stuff from my fridge to make room

Re: Confused about substitued meds
Repronex is close to menopur and centrocide is like ganerilex.. Hope this helps.

Re: Confused about substitued meds
Hi... if you can, please contact the pharmacy asap so that we may further explain the change in therapy. We'll be happy to discuss the meds you received. This should have all been explained to you yesterday. If not, we apologize and want to clarify the substitutions for you. Thank you very much.
