Just curious - Does hearing someone else's baby cry
make you feel anxious or nervous? This happened to me today..

I think it's normal to feel anxious at a sound like that.... like you would if anyone were to scream or cry loudly.

No...it honestly gives me a pounding headache, especially if its a shrieking baby or if the parents don't try AT ALL to calm him/her down. But I try to tune it out.

Yes. I can't help it. I have a mommy gene without having kids yet.
I went for a pedicure a couple weeks ago and it sucked because there were two little girls all over the place crying and whining and getting into everything. Not relaxing for me at all and I'm not even the parent (who was reading a magazine while the staff took care of her kids).
