So after playing the longest match in the history of tennis...
John Isner lost in three sets. It wasn't even close...poor kid.
Do you think they should have let him rest after playing an 11 hour match the prior two days before?
After serving 112 aces in that epic match, he didn't have a single one today.
I feel bad for him, he had to be mentally and physically exhausted.

I watched that match this morning.
I was so sad for him.
but also ****** at all the announcers b/c they were basically saying he should have called the match in the second set.
I think he and Mahut have everything to be proud of.
un frigging real was that match!!!! 3 days. 11 hours. 215 aces between them!

I felt so bad for Isner that after working so hard to win his 1st round match, he was too exhausted to play the next day. Totally understandable, but also I don't know if it would have been fair to give him extra time to rest up before it, since they have to keep on schedule and also it would set a precedent that could cause sticky situations in the future.
