Since I have no clue how to x-post....
I will re-ask over here, given the fact that we all have older kids.... At what age is it no longer OK to bring your son into the ladies room or your DD into the mens room? I have 2 DD's that have never been in a men's room. Today at the mall, my girls and I went into the ladies room and a women came in with her son. I would say he was around 10. DD is 9 and was SUUUper uncomfy with him in there. She did not want to go in until he left. I can see both sides of this, in a way, and wonder what you ladies think is the "right" thing??????

For me it depends on where we are; the mall, a large stadium etc. DS is with me, the library, restaurants, smaller venues he is on his own and I am outside or within eye&ear shot of the door. DS will be 7 in Aug.
