Conversation just held with my brother
Him: "So how's your business going?"
Me: "OK, it;s good cuz I can get out to all my Dr. visists and not have to answer to anyone."
Him: "Oh are you sick?"
Me: "No, for fertility issues"
(His wife is a midwife -- and PA. She got pg on their honeymoon and then when they thought about having another baby they were pg with twins before they even finished thinking about it. He knows we have been trying since the mis last year...)
Him: "Oh, why don't you just adopt?"
Can anyone stop me from reaching through Skype and beating him up in Bosnia?

Oh Kara, fre@#$g brothers! I have one to and I swear he is alien spawn. I think it's their job to constantly be inappropriate
I don't blame you for wanting to smack him around (not clapping... it's your hands CRUSHING his head!! )

People who have not gone thru this DON'T GET IT! I love when people who know say to me, "well my friend had problems and they just stopped thinking about it and got pregnant" OR "just relax and it will work". Gotta love those people!
Do they think we like going to the doctors all the time, taking injections, etc.....NOT!
OK...I am on my 6th day of injections..I think the hormones are kicking in..lol.

I got pi z z ed and told him yes we have thought about adoption but would like to at least TRY to make a baby together... duh! Too early to think about adoption.
I think of it like a car....if something breaks, you try to fix it. If you can fix it, excellent. But you aren't going to go out and buy a new car just because you have a dead battery, right? Or something like that....
And I admire people who decide to adopt, I think it is wonderful. I just feel the comment was ridiculous and unfeeling and personally I have to give it my best shot before moving on...and haven't even done 1 IVF....
