VS website won't take my free shipping code at checkout,
This always happens to me when I try to use codes. So annoying. Is there a special trick that I need to know?

Is it possible that you need to be using a VC credit card in order to use the code?
I find that happens a lot with VS.

Random, but this happened to me once...
By any chance were you entering catalog #'s to search for what you wanted? I had an issue once before where if the code didn't correspond to the catalog I was ordering from it wouldn't work.
My suggestion would be to either call them (usually the person on the phone can work it out for you) or try searching for the items on the web site rather than entering the catalog #.
