Pain in ovary???

I'm 7DPO and on and off all day today i'm getting a pain in my right ovary.

Could this be anything??

I am almost positive i'm out this month. I O'd while DH was away and the only time we BD was like 6 days prior to O. So i would be completely shocked if I did get a BFP this month.

What would cause the pain?? I got a smiley on my OPK so i know when i O'd. I never had ovary pain AFTER ovulating

I get cramps and various pains in my uterine area after ovulating. For a while I was getting a constant pain on the right side. I had an ultrasound and they said eveything looked normal. Tech said it could be the follicle causing the pain.

After you ovulate, the follicle that the egg came from is called the corpus luteum. It is a cyst that produces progesterone to sustain a pregnancy until the placenta takes over.

They usually disintegrate quickly if you are not pregnant. They can cause pain in some people.

Ive had pain in my ovary after ovulation as well.... it almost felt like the sharp pain I would feel BEFORE ovulating- but it never turned out to be anything. I hope its a BFP for you!!

I am 9 DPO and I have been feeling the same thing. I usually dont feel it this much though.
Hopefully its ...alll signs pointing to a BFP for us!
