How much....
As a bridesmaid, what is the average cost you have chipped in for a Bridal shower?

It varied from the weddings I was in. The last wedding I was in the bridal party did alot for the shower. So with the games, the favors, the gifts we spent well over $100. But the wedding I was in prior to that we barely spent a dime, all I was responsible for was a shower gift so I spent about $75.

I have been a bridesmaid 3 times already & I have never been asked to cheap in towards any costs of a bridal shower.

One time I was not asked to chip in, because I was a poor (poor, poor, poor) kid less than a year out of school ... and I suppose her mother took pity on us.
The other time, I contributed well over $100 for favors, food, etc. Didn't mind it and would do it again for a close friend in a heartbeat.

I have only been a MOH for my sister, and myself and my other sister were responsible for games and prizes, and I think we paid about $75 between the both of us. My sister's mother (technically she's my half sister) paid for majority of the shower and the rest of the BMs just contributed towards decorations, menus, etc.

I've been in 3 weddings and 2/3 of them didn't have moms to pay for or throw them a shower....
So i've spent between 3 and 400 twice.

Over 300 
The whole wedding cost me over $2000 in random expenses. That's not even an exaggeration. My DH and I were both in the bridal party.

i have been a bridesmaid twice. the first time i was young so it was 0, the second time was this weekend and it was over $200 but under $300.

I have been BM 7 times... LOL
I have chipped in anywhere from $50 - $200.-
That doesn't include a gift on most of those.
