Eventful appointment today!
Had my 34 week check-up and sono today. Baby B wasn't doing enough practice breathing on the sono so they hooked me up to the monitors to record the babies movements and heartbeats. Both babies looked great....
But apparently I am having pretty strong contractions about 5 minutes apart but had NO IDEA. I felt the pain & tightening but honestly thought it was the babies moving and stretching. I feel like such an idiot because I've been through this before. I was at the doctors for over 4 hours. I am so glad they let me go home rather than to the hospital.
They moved my c-section date up a week (from 39 to 38 weeks) but my midwife and high risk dr both said they expect to hear from me very soon.  I was laughing because I honestly feel fine and really thought it was the baby strecthing. It happens all the time, I mean constantly, all day long! 
I was there for over 4 hours and I said a comment to the nurse "I guess I'm not going back to work" and the doctor came running in and said "NO WORk, you have to go home!" I just couldn't believe this was seriously happening... like I said I had no idea!
SO now I am stuck on the couch with my feet up with strict instructions on when to call!
Oh yeah, Baby A  was measuring 5 lbs 3 oz and Baby B  4 lbs 14 oz.

OMG, Julie! That is crazy! I have all of that tightness and stuff too...they caught it on the sono or the monitor?? Now I am freaking out!
Anyway, glad your babies look good and they are a great size if you do go early!
What day did they schedule your section for? Mine is scheduled for 8/5...
Good luck and keep us updated...rest up!!!

I've been laughing about it since I left there but I think its getting serious now.

the night my water broke i was feeling stretching/tightening ALL day...i was in labor and had no idea...

Don't worry the same thing happened to me when i was sent to the hospital a few weeks agoi thought it was just the babies moving i guess with twins its a different feeling that having just one baby in there so you think its just normal moving around. They said to stay really hydrated and that should help with contractions. SO i just drink lots and lots of water...
That's good you are home though, i dont know how you have still been working, i stopped a few weeks ago and it was the best thing for me and my body. Good luck, just relax and take it easy the next few weeks.

That is crazy. Hang in there. I went to the hospital too a week before I gave birth to them and they said I was having contractions too and I had no idea. They stopped, but I was there for like 5 hours.
Be ready, the last weeks are so crazy with twins, expect the unexpected at each appt you have.
