4 month old schedule
Hi guys- Im having some trouble. I have 4 month old twins. They used to sleep 8 hrs straight but now my bigger guy is getting up every 3 hours!!! I dont really think he is hungry- but more using food to sooth himself. I am going to have to resort to CIO... But im wondering if you can share your dailly schedule. Including feedings (how much) and naps... These guys are at 5 ounces every 3-4 hours and take two 2 hour naps during the day.. We just startiong giving cereal. We spoon feed at 7pm then give the last bottle.

Re: 4 month old schedule
DD is 4 months and two weeks. Here was yesterdays schedule...the past few weeks have been pretty much the same.
5:30 woke up and 6 oz bottle
6-8:15 slept
8:30 1 tbsp cereal and a half jar of fruit (usually doesn't finish the whole thing)
10:00 6 oz bottle
10:15-12:15 slept
1:00 6 oz bottle
3:30-5:20 slept
5:40 1 tbsp cereal and a half jar of fruit (usually doesn't finish the whole thing)
6:50 started bedtime routine (I give half a 6 oz bottle, give her a bath, change her into pjs, read her a book, and then give the rest of the 6 oz bottle)
7:30 put down in crib...she rolls around for a while but then falls asleep on her own.
Most days are like this but it really depends on when she wakes up in the morning. Today she was up at 4 am so I had to adjust her schedule a little.

Re: 4 month old schedule
Sounds a lot like my DS (also 4 months). I've heard about the 4 month sleep regression, maybe that's what's going on with your DS. Or maybe a growth spurt.
I personally don't want to do CIO with DS until he's at least 6 months. That seems to be the most widespread recommendation. DS was waking up a lot during the night, but I still feed him and some nights he wakes up less than others. Also, putting him on a daily routine has so far been working.

Re: 4 month old schedule
my DD is 3.5 months so i won't give my schedule but instead of CIO why don't you let him fuss it out? i've done that with my DD a few times because she normally sleeps through the night and started waking up to eat. once i hear her at night, i don't pick her up until she starts to almost cry. most of the time she falls back to sleep on her own!
