We went there twice so far. DD is 2.5 and she loooooooved it. It's a great little water park. Here are some pics.
FYI: Both times we went we parked on the street no problems.

Re: new water park in Bay Shore?
Its very clean. Lifeguards on duty. If I remember correctly 10 dollars Non-Islip residents 7 dollars Islip residents with ID 5 dollars Islip residents with recreation card 4 dollars children over 4 Under 4 free
One thing is the last time I went they were adamant about kids in the water having a bathing suit on. There were a few kids without bathing suits on and they were asking them to leave the water area. Same for parents. I had a bathing suit on with a cover up and that was fine.

where is this?
Its by the Bayshore Marina...
I believe you make a right off Main Street on Clinton Ave??? not 100% sure of the name but whatever street you go make a right on is right by St. Patricks Church and the YMCA.

Yes -- it's S. Clinton Avenue that you turn down to get to the marina.

Re: new water park in Bay Shore?
I went there today with my DD who is 16 months and she LOVED it! I got there around 11am and there were no more chairs left. I was wondering if anyone knows if you can bring your own chair?
Thanks! Laurie

Re: new water park in Bay Shore?
Hours are 10-6.
Totally appropriate for little kids and some bigger kids. My 7 year old had a blast - and my 9 year old loved it too - but didn't want to ADMIT it. My girlfriends 7, 4 and 18 month old kids love it too. The lifeguards there are wonderful and really engage the kids!
I loooove Bay Shore (I grew up there) - and I'm so glad to see it becoming more attractive to people!

Soooo glad you wrote this! My bonus kids are 5, 7 and 9 and DD#1 is 21 months. I think they all (including DH) will LOVE it!! Me, on the other hand, will most likely stay at home with DD#2 who is 7 months, gets very hot very quickly and not to mention, I am not blinding anyone by being seen in a bathing suit!!

Re: new water park in Bay Shore?
I hope the prices are true as we went last year & they said over 3 was $10 per person & then it was $10 parking.
Our kids were under 3 so we only had to pay & then pay for parking. Not sure how close the parking on the street is.
We didn't like that when we were there, there were a lot of older kids running/playing tag & sort of splashing/tripping over the little kids.

Re: new water park in Bay Shore?
It's $10 for ANYONE over the age of 3 if you are not a resident. If you are a resident that's different.

It's $10 for ANYONE over the age of 3 if you are not a resident. If you are a resident that's different.
AND $10 to park for non-residents. So, if you have ONE kid over the age of three and you don't live in the Town of Islip it costs $30 to go. ($10 to park + $10 for one kid + $10 for one adult).
Compare this to Venetian Shores in Babylon which costs $15 Mon-Thurs for non-residents.
