Did you register for 2 of everything?

Hi Ladies, i was just wondering, when you registered did you actually register for 2 of everything? We obviously need 2 cribs and 2 carseats. What about swings, bouncers, PNP's, stuff like that? Do we need 2 of that stuff as well as other things? TIA!

I registered for the twin PNP. One regular bouncer and the Infant to Toddler Rocker. One Bumbo seat (which I really never used), one activity mat, one swing, one jumperoo and one exersaucer. You will need two Boppy pillows, two bouncer-type things. They are 8 months next week and I still use all of these except I retired the regular bouncer. HTH!

I had one of most things......but the things I would recommend registering for 2 of are:
-high chairs
-booster seat
-exersaucer (or get a stationary jumper too.....at 8 mths we still use these A LOT)
-boppy pillows, used them a lot the first 3 months!

I had one swing and one bouncy seat and alternated them. I had one pack n play, not the twin the regular and napped them together in there for awhile.

Re: Did you register for 2 of everything?

i mostly registered for 2 of everything.

except for the swing.. which i am glad i have one.. they don't like it very much

the bouncers were a MUST for me to have 2.. they both are in that all the time.
it was also convenient to have 2 boppy's

i did get 2 PNP because i have 2 floors and it was nice and easy to take naps downstairs.

Thanks ladies. Every time we pass a babies r us or a BBB DH has to stop so we go looking just to see things we like for when we register. Then we come home and look everything up to see reviews and stuff. but every time we walk into the store i get so overwhelmed. There is so much to consider with 2. how much of this and that. We are going to register probably in about 4 weeks or so, so i want to be very prepared. I'm literally going to the store with a list lol.

Re: Did you register for 2 of everything?

I just bumped a thread that had a lot of good info about this.

I have:

2 bouncy seats
2 swings
2 boppys

The bouncy seats are a must have IMO. They are pretty cheap and are WELL worth it. At 1st, they hated their swings. Now, they pretty much live in them. We don't use their boppys much, but it's helpful to have 2 of them.

I plan to get 1 exersaucer and 1 jumpy thing---that way I can rotate them between the boys. I only got 1 activity mat (and definitely didn't need 2).

I live on a 2 floor house. We have 1 PNP and I keep it on the 1st floor. I didn't get the twin PNP----I just got a regular one with a changer and use it mostly to change the babies during the day.

HTH!

ETA: I didn't really do much research on any of these things. I know this sounds terrible, but I just picked out things that matched my house! Chat Icon It all worked out! Chat Icon

Re: Did you register for 2 of everything?

my babies are only 2 months but so far i have used

2 boppys
2 bouncies - they live in these seats
2 swings, my advice get ones with a mobile overhead, they love it, the other one with a play bar in front they have no use for cause they can't play with it yet,

i can see needing
2 high chairs
and i registered for 2 bumbo type seats but we havent used them yet
thats all i have so far

2 car seats
2 bouncers, but two diufferent ones, for a variety.
2 swings since they loved them
1 jumperoo
1 exesauser.
1 pack and play
2 cribs
2 high chairs

I also did not regiuster for the exesauser, jumperoo, and the big car seats becuase i wanted to make sure I had the stuff they needed sooner. They wound up getting the exesauser and jumperoo for xmas and we didn';t need the car seats until they were 9 months old. I didn't want to store something for 9 months.
