OBGYN Recommendation
Anyone in love with their OB and recommend him/her. My OBGYN isn't an OB anymore and I am not fond of his partners ...there are only 2 OBs left in the practice. I just had a miscarriage two weeks ago and am brushing myself off and getting back into the game, but need a good doctor. TIA!
FYI I live in Whitestone so I can do anyone in the Nassau area. Thanks!

I have a midwife, but there are two OBGYNs in the practice. She's awesome, but I've heard good things about the doc's, too.

I REALLY recommend North Shore OBGYN. It's directly across from Bay Terrace. I can't say enough wonderful things about the doctors there...and I switched after delivering my first two elsewhere. (718) 224-5800.

I personally didn't want a practice with multiple docs, I wanted a one-man show! So, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Richard Trongone. He is on Northern Blvd in Manhasset, directly across from the IHOP and only about a minute down the road from Americana! My DH and I loved him from the 1st day we went in!! He is affliated only with NSUH! 516-365-2500

I HIGHLY recommend this practice. I love love love Dr. Rifkin. He delivered my daughter. You have to see all the OBs in the practice but I loved Rifkin and Sadaty as well.

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage.
Women's Preferred Health - they have an office in Great Neck, deliver at NSUH Manhasset, do all of their sonograms and testing in their office. My favorites there are Morris-Rush and Oppenheim.

I live in Bayside and I go to Dr. Alkasab in Great Neck. I absolutely love her.
There are 5 doctors in the practice - including Dr. Klein who is considered a top doctor for high risk patients. Several of my close friends have had miscarrraiges and have gone to him and have been very happy with him.
They are affiliated with NSUH. Another Dr. in the practice (Dr. Nimaroff) is the head of OB & GYN @ NSUH.

My doctor is Dr. Nerenberg and he's located a block away from Flushing Hospital (although he doesn't work out of there - he works out of LIJ). He's really nice and calm and pretty funny. His phone number is (718) 762-6622.

I second dr trongone! i had a rough pregnancy and he was with me every step of they way (his nurses are great too) he even does his own amnios (most other docs send u out) so gentle and great bedside manner!

I couldn't agree with you more about how gentle he is...my internals are nothing...and he does have an unbelievable bedside manner! I was told by quite a few different nurses & sono techs from NSUH that he is one of the most well-respected and well-liked doc that delivers there...gets along with everyone...and the nurses love him! That made me feel even better :)

I couldn't agree more. Dr. Rifkin delivered my son a few weeks ago and was amazing ! He is a brilliant doctor and has a wonderful bedside manner - perfect combination. I also loved Dr. Sadaty - but was very happy that Dr. rifkin was on call for my delivery.

I also use Susan Alkasab in Great Neck. I absolutely love her. The other doctors in thge office are nice too. She is located at 825 Northern Blvd.

This is who I use and am very happy with them. Sadaty is my doc but Rifkin did my c section and was reat. Kaufman seems great too.
I was seeing Dr. Rothstein in Bayside (across from Bay Terrace) before them and loved her (only changed cuz my insurance changed). I can only recommend her as a gyno though, didn't use her during my pregnancy.
