BC question....
I was on ortho tri cyclen, but my doctor switched me to yasmin because I had some mid-cycle bleeding on ortho tri. This is my first full month on yasmin, and I have absolutely awful cramps during the PMS time of month. It's horrible. This was one of the reasons why I went on BC years ago. Has anyone switched brands? I don't know if this is my body adjusting to the new brand. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow, but I don't know if I want to go through another month of this if it might not improve.

I had to switch bc pills 4 seperate times because of bleeding in the middle of the month. It happened on ortho and yasmin and 2 others that I cant remember. It always happened after a year or so of being on them. I liked yasmin the best though, i felt good on it and my body dint have any side effects other then the bleeding a year later. Maybe give it another month.

Thanks! As much as I don't want to try another month, I feel like I should to see if it's my body adjusting. Is the bleeding bad just because it's a nuisance? I forget what my doctor said about it.

When you swtich brands-- your body does need to adjust. I actually was on Yasmin a couple years ago and hated it-- but I waited three months for my body to adjust and when it didn't, I switched again.
