How many bottle does/did you DC get at one year old?
DD is just over 11 months and I have her down to 2 bottles a day. I know the APA recommends that babies be off of bottles by one year, but I also know that for most that is unrealistic. I told DH last night that I would like to try to have DD off of bottles completely by one year. He said he thinks she should get her night bottle until 2 or 3 because it's nice for her to have it to quench her thirst and fill her little belly. I honestly don't see myself letting her have it THAT long, but you never know.
Anyway- answer my question.

she gets a bottle at nap time (though that one i'm trying to get rid of) and a bottle at bedtime...(and if she wakes up during the night).

it was my goal to have him off by 1 year.... his birthday is Friday!
HOWEVER, I caught DH sneak him one the other day, my Mom has given him one, and I've had 5 people tell me I'm not allowing him to be a baby...so who knows what's "right".
He drinks about 18-20oz of milk from a cup per day, and about 12-16oz water.

DD will be 1 on Aug 13th and still gets 4 bottles a day. I'm going to continue until she has her 1 year well check. She loves her baba so I think it's going to be hard to take it away.

At 1 year DD was still getting 3 bottles per day.
in the morning when she woke up
before her afternoon nap
bedtime
She was on forumla stil until she was almost 14 months old.
She hates milk.
At the time we stopped the formula DD decided on her own she was done with bottles.
Now she gets
Sippy when she wakes up (not milk since she doesn't drink milk, actually yogurt smoothie which we add milk to)
Sippies of water throughout the day.
Sippy at bedtime (same as her morning sippy).

Same here - the afternoon one is after lunch right before his nap. He has a total of about 20oz of milk a day

DD will be 14 months in about a week - she still gets 3 milk bottles a day.
Morning bottle
3pm bottle
before bed bottle
We ideally wanted to have her off bottles by a year old, but now that we have a newborn on bottles and we see how jealous she gets when the baby gets his bottles, we'll probably keep her on them for a few more months and gradually take them away one at a time.

as soon as we switch to milk, he is off bottles. I am not putting whole milk into a botte.
I don't think he cares where he drinks from, as long as he gets what he wants anyway.

I would like to get DS off the bottle by 1, but I dont' think that's goign to happen. He still only takes small sips of water from the sippy, never anything of any consequence. I'm not sure if he'll master it by then (he's 9.5 months).

My DD is 21 months. At 1 year old she was taking 4 bottles per day = 18 oz. At 21 months now, I still give her bottles, usually about 3 per day. She knows how to drink out of a straw cup as well as a sippy cup, and she uses them to drink water thruout the day, but she loves her bottles so I let her have them. She usually lounges on the couch drinking her bottle watching Yo Gabba Gabba or another favorite program. As long as she has the skill to drink out of the sippy/straw cups, I don't care that she still uses the bottle. She's growing up so fast as it is!

0 The day I switched to whole milk was the last bottle...cold turkey for both formula and bottles...was super easy with DD. She used to get a bottle before bed, but I just skipped it and she didn't seem bothered by it.

abbys a little over 1 now... shes getting 3 bottles a day 8oz each.. plus atleast 8oz of water a day in a sippy cup... ive been offering her formula in a sippy she takes a few sips then tosses it... so its not that she doesnt know how to use the sippy its just that she doesnt "want" to... so when i see the ped on thurs im going to ask how i go about getting her to drink the milk/formua out of a cup... i most likley will cold turkey it come monday she will strike for a day and then get used to it. i also have to transition to milk slowly so its a PITA

Two six ounce bottles - one when she wakes up and one before bed.
The rest of her fluid intake is in a sippy cup (at day care, with dinner).
She will drink milk from a sippy but since both "bottles" are usually in my bed, I don't like using a sippy cup because I have yet to find one that doesn't leak if turned over.

DS will be 1 on sunday. He still gets 3 8oz bottle per day. I'm in no rush to get him off the bottle. He drinks water and juice in a sippy during the day, so I know he knows how to drink from something other than a bottle. But he likes the bottle and to be honest, so do I. He's growing up so quickly as it is...I'm not going to rush it any further.

I still give my DS:
4 oz when he wakes up

And in between he gets breakfast, lunch, dinner and usually 2 snacks.
Should I try to cut back to 3 bottles a day (morning, noon, bedtime?) How many oz per bottle - 6 or 7? 
I feel like a dum dum

You could always try cutting back to 3... just give larger amounts than 4ozs.
Each bottle we give DD is 6ozs--3 a day.

Mia also. The binky is done- Mia gave it up on her own, but still wants the comfort of the bottle. I have been cutting it down significantly, but when she wants to nap or sleep, baba it is . . .
