Hi!
Just thought I'd start a convo on this board!
So, what do you love to create? Why do you love it, and why do you do it?

I love photography, I love shooting portraits that one on one vibe you get.
I like to create photo albums with the images I take.
I also paint and draw but not frequently.

What about you?

Currently, scrapbooking, stamping and photography with the photography being in the forefront right now.

Not current, but not forgotten, cross stitch and knitting. I have an extensive stash of fibers and stuff but haven't done anything in quite awhile. It is something I'd like to take up again, I just need to make the time.

In the distant past, weaving, ceramics, jewelry design and metalsmithing - I have my I have my BFA in Metalsmithing (like Paul Revere - hammering teapots out of silver and more) with a minor in Fabric Design. My MFA is also Metalsmithing with a minor in sculpture. I had a jewelry design business for several years but moved on as the industry changed.

Most of what I do is for creative satisfaction and my own pleasure, but I've recently started selling some of my photos on the Microstock sights.

I LOVE TO KNIT

i love how string and two sticks can become anything! i'm a bit of a process knitter, i just love the act of knitting.

i'll make just about anything, i just don't care for "color work".

i will also make just about anything for just about anyone. depending on the cost of the yarn, sometimes i'll ask that the yarn be purchased for the project, but i will give my time and give the item away... and love the whole process.

i have a room in my house dedicated to my knitting supplies. SO thinks i'm a little off my rocker to have so much knitting stuff but i don't care.

i love the soft yarns. life is too short to knit with rough yarn... even if it cost a lot more

i think i got off track lol
i love to knit!! PERIOD

eta: i do other things: crochet, needle point, embroidery, hand sew, paint... but knitting is a passion

KSLbear I went to New Paltz for Metals and would up working in textiles myself for years.
My parents have a crafts biz so for years I have dabbled in jewelry. I have too many interests and not enough hours in the day.
Knitting, photography, scrapbooking, etc.
