every wed throughout the summer they host a clambake/lobster night. have to check again on time and price. not sure where else to check other that driving there and reading the banner.
thinking of going next week. i'll let you know when i get more info.

not positive but think it is on the baordwalk near the main parking lot. isn't there a casual snack bar there? i think there is live music as well.

They also have Lobster Nights at Cedar Beach and Venetian and Tanner in Babylon if you are interested. I believe it is Tuesday and Thursday. You can look on thebeachhuts.com

Here's info on it from the Lessings.com website - under the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow -- my brother was there yesterday and said he saw the signs for it so I looked it up:

trust me i didn't know either! my brother said he saw the lobster night sign and it said "Lessings" on it and thats the only way i could find the info!

we went once, I think about 2 years ago. I would go again.
It was nice, but gets crowded. I think its best done if you take your dinner onto the beach with a blanket and bottle of wine.
Otherwise you end up waiting for a free seat and sharing tables. (no table service - its pick up/buffet style)
eta: we didn't have to register to go, so maybe its less crowded/better managed now?

I went last year and it was nice, food was good and the music was great. I love the idea about taking it to a picnic spot on the beach.
Our friends got there early and got a table. DD made a few friends, which kept her entertained the WHOLE time! They danced to the music and we truly enjoyed ourselves.

Been there many of times.. Music is great, food is good. The best are the beautiful sunsets, people travel all over to see beautiful sunsets and we have them right here in our own backyard!!!! I defiantly recommend you try it out!!
