I feel awful
We have had a recurring mouse problem in our apartment. The exterminator keeps putting glue traps down, but we've never caught anything on them until this week. I found a dead one in a trap on Wednesday morning. Last night, one got caught, but got free and left fur behind, and now one just got caught and I had to bag it and throw it down the incinerator..I didn't know what else to do with it!!
I know the traps are terribly cruel, but at the same time, having the mice around is awful, and while I like the humane traps, I'm not big on carrying the mice somewhere to let them go free.
I wish that they didn't look so darn cute once they were caught!

i know how you feel...i am a big softie too. 
i read an article in AMNY the other day about how 2 yeenage boys caught a groundhog mom and baby and set them on fire. The police are pressing criminal charges against them. I can't stop thinking about it!

The sound of the poor thing crying in the trap was just terrible.
Whenever I tell my mom about them, she yells at me for being sensitive about it! "They're not cute, they're rodents, pests! Stop worrying about what they're feeling!"

Sorry about your mouse troubles!! We had one once and we felt so bad for it when we caught it, that we couldn't kill it. We put it in a peanut jar at 2 in the morning and drove it up to the park and let it go. Get a cat, mice usually won't venture to a place with cats!!
