When emailing Principals...
your resume and cover letter do you write a little something or just attach your resume and cover letter. If you write a message can I ask what you write. Thank you!

Off the top of my head I wrote something like:
Dear Mr. Smith,
I am a Guidance Counselor at PS 123 currently in excess. Attached you will find my cover letter and resume.
Thank you in advance for your consideration.
