What gives??
AF is late. I have taken test after test and they have all come back negative  I am 12DPO, I usually get AF at 12DPO. I am confused because I thought LP doesn't change. So why don't I have AF? I know when I O'ed because I was using an OPK. I don't feel preggo either. I hate to admit that I'm out, I think that's the case though. Where is AF?! I hate having long cycles. I feel like each cycle takes forever and I see people blowing through their cycles on here  OK vent over. Thanks for listening

 Hang in there... you aren't out yet!! Try to stay positive. Maybe that BFP is coming tomorrow morning!!!!!

OPKs only tell you that your body is getting ready to O, not that it definitely will O.
You might have geared up to O but didn't, or O was delayed.

After I had my fist DD, OPKs would often detect a surge, but then I wouldn't O (I was charting as well) until days later.

Oh really?! I had no idea that you could get a surge and then not O. Maybe I should start temping. Is that a more accurate way to tell if you are Oing? I wish I had known this before because I only BD the day I got the smiley and the 2x the day after  Well I still didn't get AF so who knows what's going on. I am still BFing DS 2x a day, maybe that is why O is being delayed?

Yeah that's probably the case here. I'm CD37 and I think I *may* have seen the beginning of some spotting

The only way for you to confirm O yourself is to temp. Yes, you can surge and not O, which would be an annovulatory cycle, which can happen every now and then. It can be related to many different factors - i.e, stress, travel, sickness, etc. You mentioned you are still BFing DS - have you spoken to your Dr. about TTC #2? I'm not sure about this since I haven't had any DC yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if BFing is interfering with your cycles a bit. I would def suggest temping if you can commit to it. I have been TTC for 1 year, and I just started temping last month. I have always gotten smileys on OPK's and peaks on my CBEFM, but I figured it was time to take the plunge and temp every morning to confirm that I am in fact Oing.
