4-5 year old girls...what are they loving right now?
Hi all!
So Megan will be turning 4 at the end of August, not sure how that happened but yep, it did, and I am bawling!
Anyway..I was wondering what the 4-5 year old girls are into right now? She is way more into imaginative play..singing and stuff. Her birthday is Barbie themed so I will be getting her a few Barbie themed toys..but what else?? What are your girls into?? TIA!

My dd just turned 4 and her most favorite things she got this year were all Disney princess dress up outfits. We bought her the Snow White outfit plus the box of princess shoes, but her favorite was the Cinderella wedding gown with all of the accessories even the light up shoes. She was actually wearing it yesterday morning while eating her breakfast.

My dd is 5.5. She loves anything arts & crafts. She's still into Disney Princess, Barbie, My Little Pony, dress up. She's starting to get into Littlest Pet Shop, but I think that's mainly because her 7yo cousin likes them and she wants to be like her. For more educational stuff she likes puzzles, connect the dots, color by number, leveled readers, she uses her Tag reader occasionally.

Ava loves her dress up clothes and shoes, those were some of her best gifts. That and she LOVES, and I mean LOVES, to have her own notebooks and pens and pads of paper. She does SO much with them in terms of writing, pretending to be a waitress, a doctor, you name it. Seriously, I buy the cheap notebooks in target for like 10 cents each and she's happier than can be! Also, we bought her a real bike for her birthday that she loves. But mostly, she's an imaginative play kind of kid so things that she can use to play other things with, she loves.
ETA: As I type this, she's dressed as Dorothy in a pair of heels with a notebook and pen in hand taking my order She reminds me of that diner in Pulp Fiction where the waiters and waitresses were impersonators of famous people

Lauren still loves her dollhouse. She has a ton of Barbies, and they are often visited in the house by some my Little Pony's and some Polly Pockets. Her easel is still a big hit too, she can do chalk on one side and white board on the other and it also has a roll of paper for painting.
She got a PetPals game for her Leapster for her 4th birthday and that was a huge hit. She loves it.

Re: 4-5 year old girls...what are they loving right now?
Making a mess! Oddly enough my DD loves to wrap anything she can find in the house. I gave her a stack of tissue paper and roll of scotch tape and she was busy for an hour Then she put all the gifts in gift bags left from her bday. Otherwise, she is big into her babies right now. Generally she is not a toy kind of kid. She loves playing school so I get her workbooks from dollar tree. She has just started barbie, littlest pet shop, and polly pocket.
And puzzles! She actually started doing 100 piece puzzles. I do the border and she does the rest.
