I am grateful to have a job BUT

I STILL don't have my program for 2010-2011. My principal told me I was teaching 7th, but I have no confirmation, and that could mean any number of things- 2 classes of ELA with 2 and 3 period blocks, 3 classes of ELA, 2 classes of ELA and 1 "other". I really, really need and want to get a jump on planning, and I can still do that, but I wish I knew for sure, since there is still a chance I will have 6th grade. I also probably don't have a homeroom for the first time EVER and I have 20 crates of books and supplies, and no where to put them.

I hated that when I taught HS! You could get a new prep a week before school starts

Even now, I won't know my schedule until the first PD day back, but at least I know what classes I will have.
