The little gym birthday party
Hi there everyone! Has anyone had there childs birthday party at the little gym? I am having my DD party there and was wondering how the hour and a half played out? Was is rushed at all. I am thinking about extending it to 2 hours but not sure if its worth the extra money. Any one have any opinions on the place or suggestions? Thanks!

Re: The little gym birthday party
I had my DD's 2nd birthday at The Little Gym and LOVED it. It was one of my favorite parties. I'm in Westchester though.
I didn't feel it was rushed. How old is your DD? They change the program depending on the age.

It will be her 2nd birthday as well. Its a hour and half and I thought that 30 minutes for cake and pizza was not much time. I was thinking of making it 2 hours

Re: The little gym birthday party
We went to one and DD#1 had a blast - and the 90 mins was plenty of time. Most of the parties we go to it is always 30 mins in the party room for food and cake - that has been standard - the only parties we went to that extended something extended the play not the food time. It really was enough time - b.c the kids start to get restless at the end of the food time and are getting up and ready to leave. If you pay to extend anything I would extend the play time not the eating time.

I agree! I just had DD's 2nd Birthday there it was a blast! But trust me with toddlers running around and stealing each other's juice, pizza and cupcakes, you will be happy it's only 30 min of eating Same thing for the playiing...1 hour is plenty of time!
I do suggest bringing your own paper goods. I bought elmo (her theme). A friend used there's and the plates and cups were eh.
Otherwise, a great party!!!
