headhunters - another vent

I applied for a position online and the headhunter contacted me that same day. we arranged an appt for me to meet her. i trudged into the city, went all the way downtown, filled out a 15 minute application, sat in the waiting room another 15 minutes past my appt time, then met with her.

she told me i don't have the qualifications (she could see what experience i had on my resume that i'd already sent her), that i really need to get a job or contract position or anything b/c i've been out of work/not working for a year and a half now, and that it'll just be harder for me if I don't.

thanks a lot for the pep talk, lady. as though i don't already know this? and thanks for calling me in for the job you know i wasn't qualified for.

trying to maintain a positive attitude but finding it hard today, especially after this.
