What a crock.... another "study" about men and cheating...
Here's an article that says men who make less money than the woman they are with are more likely to cheat.
Um... personally I think that's just one more EXCUSE for their lack of morals and values. What a bunch of bologna.
Cheating.

You mean ALL those politicians who were caught cheating have wives making more than them?
And, wow, Elin Woods must be earning a billion dollars a year!

Re: What a crock.... another "study" about men and cheating...
What exactly is the point of all these studies on cheating? Do they think once they can pinpoint the so called "causes" that people will stop doing it? I think not.

Re: What a crock.... another "study" about men and cheating...
Why must they try to excuse cheating?! I know it's not always easy to think of being with only one person forever and ever, but that's the point of marriage. If you're not on board for that, then don't say "I do."

Re: What a crock.... another "study" about men and cheating...
I agree w/ jerseypanda its total bull!!!
I have a very close family member who cheated on his wife. I had the fantastic pleasure of finding out. I confronted him and his response as to why he did it was b/c he got drunk and was enjoying the attention of a much younger woman.
ok now, I totally buy what he spewed but I must add that he ALSO cheated b/c he is an arrogant, obnoxious man who refuses to put anyone before his own ideals & desires.....phew, felt good to get that out!!!

Re: What a crock.... another "study" about men and cheating...
Huh, interesting.
Ironically, the guys I know who've cheated on their wives all made more than them.
Kind of blows that theory out of the water...
I think people cheat for a whole host of reasons. Unhappiness, troubled relationships, boredom, fallen out of love, arrogant, narcissistic...The list goes on and on.
I think as humans we try our best to give reasons for why people do bad things.
Oh he's a violent criminal because he was abused or neglected as a child.
She's a cheat because she has a fear of commitment or is a sex addict.
I think it's common to look for reasons when sometimes there really isn't any.

Between this and the article on female bosses I think some men are just really ticked that the women don't stay barefoot and pregnant like the good old days

What a bunch of bull. Oh and I just LOVE this comment that a reader made :
Women like to think that we have a duty to fall in love solely with what they have in their heads, so much so so that the ludicrous big-screen pipe dream, Shallow Hal, appeals to them tremendously. They obsinately refuse to see the fact that the ways a woman conserves herself for us and treats us are flattering and irresistible aknowledgements of our incomplete male human nature, the body and attentions of a woman that is agreeable to us are soothing respite from our existencial angst, they are an oasis in our worldview. When a woman begins to find justifications for minimalizing these essential requirements of man-woman relations by allways putting her man on schedule and neglecting her physical condition (which yes, is very important to us, as it indicates how important pleasing us is to you), the relationship starts to become a mere formality that is begging for a reason. We have enough bosses and business partners, we don't need one in our house.

Wow..makes it seem like slavery. Who died and made him king?
We are here for the sole purpose of pleasing men. What about men pleasing us? It goes two ways buddy.

What ticks me off the most about that guy's comment is that women can't neglect her physical appearance because it matters so much to a man...I'd like to see how this guy looks, really. How many out of shape husbands are there, just enjoying their beer and pizza sitting on the couch, while the wife feels guilty about it and signs up for Jenny Craig. I think every woman I know is on some sort of diet (thin or no so thin), while how many men do I know are trying to improve their appearance...none really.
Not to mention, some of the most beautiful women in the world have been cheated on...most Hollywood actresses and supermodels have been cheated on, so there goes that guy's theory.
