Last day with therapists?
DS ages out of EI on 8/31  I'm SO close to his speech therapist. I'm so sad to see her go.
I got her a mug, a necklace and a gift card. I'm wondering if I should do something on her last day. I was thinking of maybe making a pot of coffee and getting a cake.... what do you think?

My DD phases out of EI same day as your child. I would love to do the coffee thing or something like that but I know she has other kids after mine. I got her a bracelet from things remembered and had it engraved!

My DS also ages out on 8/31.
There are so many we are saying "bye" to.
I'm doing all GCs.
For one of his home teachers AND she's also his classroom teacher at school, Im going to do a GC and I'm thinking a boquet of flowers and maybe a poem or something from DS.
It's so hard.
EI has been amazing and its so sad saying "Bye"
I think what you got is absoultley fine.
