Behavior management system with a jungle/monkey theme

Im going to be doing a jungle/monkey theme in my classroom and I want to do some sort of simple behavior management plan with my kindergardeners. (Something similar to the stoplight systems with green-good, yellow-ehh, red-not so good) But in a monkey/jungle kind of theme. Any ideas?

A coworker of mine did something similiar....she did it very simple....

I think her title was Monkey Business or something to that nature:

She had three different monkey faces (Happy, Uh Oh and Sad / Crying) which I think she got from a clip art program and then she had each student's name on a small die cut monkey and moved it when needed...

I'm doing something similiar this year but with frogs.

I use a pocket chart for my red/yellow/green system...it is made by Carson I think.

I think you could do something like Top Banana behavior and everyone is a banana.

Re: Behavior management system with a jungle/monkey theme

I do frogs in my room (but you could do it with monkeys)

On a metal door I box out a green, yellow and red box. Each student has a frog on a magnet with their name on it. When they arent following directions etc they are told to move their frog. (you could say more your monkey).

In their folder they keep a chart. It has 5 frogs (or monkey) in each row (each row = a week) at the end of the day they color in what color their frog was on under that day of the week and if it is yellow or red i write a note home I leave space at the bottom for notes.

It works really well especially because they dont want to go home with a yellow or red frog. a few times I get kids trying to color in green when they are on red

I teach 1st grade

Do you know where she found the pictures for it? Ive been searching but cant find 3 of the same monkey making those faces. I might just do a the frog one bc I found pictures with that
