Why I Don't Want to Have a Baby - article in Marie Claire
Read this yesterday in the latest issue.
Interesting read. Didn't agree 100% with it...I don't dig the little jabs toward women with kids... but she does hit the nail on the head in regard to how DH and I feel about having kids...we just don't have that maternal/paternal feeling. Some of it just reads like a vent, though.

it did read a bit like a rant...
but on the other hand I give her an enormous amount of credit for not hauling off and punching that guy, Mark, in the face. He, as far as I'm concerned, crossed the line.
Unnatural? wow.

I really liked it
as some who constantly has to defend my choice to not have a child...I totally get where she is coming from
(not sure why people are so concerned considering my current situation- they should applaud that it's the furtherest thing from my mind)
even one of my clients asked me where "my kids" were going to live "if" I purchase a condo (I am a Realtor)
what kids was he talking about....his?
my cats?
I don't even want or have a boyfriend right now...let's not put the cart before the horse......
