Re: Am I the last August mommy left?
Nope..I'm still here anxiously waiting also!
Friday nite I went to the hospital at 3 in the morning because I was having steady contractions 5min apart since 11:30. They weren't really painful so I held off on going sooner. They monitored her heartrate and my contractions for an hr and told me I was in early labor. Then she did an internal and said she was 60% effaced, 1-2cm dialted, and very, very low. She told me she'd be shocked if I wasn't back by the end of her shift....well here I am..still preggo! lolz. I went to my regular Dr yesterday and he told me that she's about 70% effaced now and could come anyday, that I def am in the beginning stages of labor, but not active labor. He just said to rest and take it easy. I go back on thursday for them to check the fluids, heartrate and how big she is.
This waiting is killing me!!
Good luck to you!

Re: Am I the last August mommy left?
I am still here too. My baby is just one stubborn little guy. I was due Friday the 20th. I actually went into the hospital monday morning for an induction. I started off being a fingertip dialated, soft and only about 20 % effaced, and the baby was at -4 station (meaning very high)
They started me off in cervidil and 10 am. By 6:00 pm my doctor came and no change at all. So, he let me have dinner, and at 8 pm they put in another cervidil. They took out the second cervidil this morning at 8am and the resident said that I was 1cm dialated but no change in effacement, I am still long. My doctor came at 9:30 am and said that I was about 2 cm dialated but that I was long and no change in effacement. SO - I chose to go home. My doctor wants to see me tomorrow am and try a second induction tomorrow night. I am going to try to see if we can wait a little longer. Unfortunately, because of the baby being very high, the doctor is skeptical that I will have a vaginal delivery.
