Question:
Does anyone know how far you have to live away from the high school for your child to get a bus to school?

We live 1.18 miles away from the H.S. I am hoping we can get a bus.

First off, congrats!!

As far as the bus issue, I think most districts have their busing info in place by April 1st for the Sept. school year. I know if I didn't have my app. in for bus service, we would not be able to get it (my son goes to private school, but gets busing through the public school district).

Some districts set their own distance rules, so I would call. I know my district it's 1.25 miles. Distances, by law, are measured along the nearest available public route between home and school."
