stupid ? re: oatmeal
May be a dumb question but some of the earth's best are banana peach oatmeal, raspberry peach oatmeal etc.
Are those meant to be served alone ( as the days oatmeal ) or mixed into oatmeal. MIL is mixing them w/oatmeal and I think DD's getting double oatmeal....

I still gave it with the oatmeal just in case.. when they're full they'll stop eating. But to be sure he was getting enough.. i just treated it like a fruit.

Those are supposed to be served alone. They are considered a full breakfast bc it's mixed with a fruit. If your DC is still hungry you can always give more, but there shouldn't be a need to.

agreed...I always served these on their own and they were still hungry, I gave them puffs or cheerios or more fruit

It depended on DS. If I knew he was really hungry than i would mix it in with a little oatmeal. Always satisfied him....
