Yes I attended the meeting. They just need final approval through legislation as they are going over budget and I guess it's just a formality. My DD goes next year so I'm beyond psyched.

DS won't be going until next year as well! But, definitely good to know!

Next question though Chat Icon .. since he is my oldest, when do I need to start the registration process for next year??? Will there be space for him or does he need to go on a list? I'm so clueless Chat Icon

I think registration for KP starts in February, but if I'm wrong, its early in the year. However, you can register him for kindergarten up until the last minute. When we were thinking about moving to KP, they told me not to register until we were sure we were moving.

Thank you Michelle! I was just so confused since I hear so many stories of children being on waiting lists and all (could just be for pre-school though). Plus if they end of not having full day, then I want to make sure I can get an am class if available. I've got time!

There is no waiting lists for kindergarten. Since its a public school, as long as you live in the district, they cant deny your child entry. Waiting lists are for pre-k, and I guess for choice of morning/afternoon (when it was that day)
