Re: Timeshares?
We love it! But I've also become really good at navigating and getting the ost out of it. We belong to RCI and they offer a lot of discount last minute packages. We usually use 2-3 of those a year in addition to the week we own. I also have booked many trips for friends thourgh the last minute section and they just pay an additional $60 for a guest pass.

We love ours too. We bought through Starwood in Orlando and have gotten our moneys worth too.

Re: Timeshares?
Just a word of advice, NEVER buy direct from a place. The resale deals are way better!!!

Re: Timeshares?
LOVE IT!
We have one at the Marriot in Aruba. Perfect now that we have a son. Separate kitchen and nice balcony to sit out on at night. Mason doesn't sleep in our room, he sleeps in the PNP in the den so we have our own privacy. Kitchen with a kid is great and even b4 Mason we stocked up on food at the local mart and beer and brought it down to the beach to snack on and drink the beer instead of paying a fortune for the drinks they sell on the beach.
Don't have to eat out every night. We usually have one night we make something or order in and sit on the balcony for dinner.

I think it depends on where you want to go. Best thing to do is go on their website or see if there are any of those deals where you stay at their timeshare real cheap for a few days and all you have to do is listen to their 90 minute presentation

Re: Timeshares?
I know people on here who have bought them off of ebay for CHEAP! You then pay a couple hundred dollars to get the deed switched over.
