What kind of shower are you having?
My dh seems to think that we are the only couple in the history of the world that is NOT having a jack and jill shower- so I thought I'd do a poll and see if that was the case tia

Jack & Jill would be cool because a large group of my friends are guys (I've been to pampered chef parties that have more guys than the football parties with the same group!), but I'm sure my mom will do all girls

However... every shower that I've ever been to for DH's side of the family has been a J&J. Since I know your DH is Hispanic as well, I think it might be a cultural thing, although I could absolutely be wrong. lol

I dont know  My sister saids all girls and SIL saids J&J.. I really dont know.. All I know is that my family and friends in ATL are having one for us.. I know the NYC babyshower is going to be much larger..
All I know is that they are already planning without me..

I'm really not sure. Mine's still a couple months away. But I KIND of hope it's a jack & jill deal only because I'm living away from home and it's all DH's family out here. I would definitely want him there (since it's HIS family). When I come back to visit NY though, my family's planning on throwing me one there too - that I'm sure will be all girls.

aww it is nice that your dh wants to be included! my dh wants nothing to do with any type of shower bc he just pictures tons of crazed women. 
i think both ways are nice, but my fam tends to do things a little more traditionally, so it will be all girls.

DH's family typically has showers at restaurants (I dont know about mine yet) and generally the men hang out at the bar (the family men, DH, Dad, FIL, BIL). But if it doesn't work out that way DH wouldn't want to come except for a drop off and hello and a pick up of the goods!!!

All girls but someone had told us about a "Beer and Diapers" thing where the guys get together and bring beer and a package of diapers and hang out at the house while the girls are at the shower.

haha no- the only reason that he wants it is so that we dont have to go out and buy as much stuff  he's ridiculous!

all girls plus DH will probably be there. we are probably having it at my FIL's house and he has a game room in his basement. DH will probably invite some of the guys to go play pool with him while people gawk over my belly

I'm not sure. . I think the plan is to have an all girls one but I don't know. . I think DH should have his own shower with his own friends. . he has a lot of female friends too so maybe they will throw him one. .
and if I have an all girls shower does that mean I do invite or don't invite my gay male friends?

With #1 it was all girls. I imagine IF I have a sprinkle this time since its twins I imagine it iwll be all girls again.

we are doing all girls... DH & FIL will come towards the very end to have something to eat & help load the cars with the gifts, but other than that, i think the boys would be SO bored at a baby shower lol

I would agree.. I'm Hispanic and we always have J&J showers... which totally threw my Irish DH off ever since I started taking him to family functions back when we were dating, since he was only knew of people having all girl babyshowers...
Now he loves J&J babyshowers!

Probably an all girls one. Still not sure if I want one, my mom said if Id rather not have one she'll just spend all the money on the baby instead of the shower, so either way I'll have what I need

I would do a J&J at a house because then there is room for the guys to hang out and if its nice out, they can hang outside.
If its at a restaurant, then I would do an all girl shower only.
I think mine will be an all girl shower.
