anyone want to join me for a sobfest?

My DD is starting preschool tomorrow. She is going to the Boces Readiness Center. It's not so much her starting preschool that has me a mess...its that its a full day! She's going from just having her therapists to school full day and I know it is going to be hard on her. But I know its the best thing for her too. Still, its going to be a rough day.

My DS goes tomorrow as well.
Not worried about school (he's been there over a year for EI).
We went today to "meet the teacher".
I'm flipping out about the bus! LOL
He also goes all day.
I know he's gonna love it and probably come home exhuasted!

Yes, DS is starting tomorrow too.

I can't even cry "freely". DH took the day off. We are both following the bus to school and go to his classroom to bring his stuff (snacks, diapers, wipes, etc...)

Yes, we are going to be those psycho parents following the bus.

I hope I don't lose it! I was a SAHM with DS during the week. We had all the therapies at home except for a mommy and me class one time per week. DS had it made. He could watch TV between therapy sessions. He had his toys all day. Hanging with mommy all day. Now it's FT and sharing with other kids for 6 hours. He will be gone most of the day.

I will miss my little buddy!


It's really bitter sweet. I am looking forward to being able to breath a bit but I have a hard time letting go.

How did we do?
I cried like a fool when the bus pulled away! LOL

I didn't really "follow" the bus. I went to school and waited for them to arrive.
He was so happy.
I feel MUCH better.
