Hi! I am asking for some help for my students please. Chat Icon I teach at an alternative high school where students find themselves after giving birth, having past arrests/trouble in school, etc. These kids are on the brink of giving up and dropping out.
I am an English teacher there and started a class library last year. It was more successful than I could have hoped!(By the way, first book taken out from these so called "bad kids" : Harry Potter!!!!!)The problem I now face is that I don't have enough books for the demand.
I am looking for (all topics) used books that you would be willing to give up! Please forum mail me and I can happily take them off your hands! It would mean so much to me and these students!!!!!! Thanks so much!

You should definitely go to Donorschoose.org and write a proposal. I've gotten so many things for my classroom this way. Good luck!

Also check out paperbackswap.com -- I'm sure you could get people from there to send you books!
