I need this dr in CT horror story to come to an end
I can't stomach it, listen to it or see this poor man's face again.
The fact that this kind of evil exists is too much for me.

I live a few towns away from where it happened. My husband is a doctor and we have two daughters. Wayyy too similar. I was not able to sleep for a LONG time after it first happened...I still have nightmares and get freaked out about it.
I think about that poor man all the time. Probably because it's ALWAYS on the news since I live in CT. The whole thing is a nightmare. I really hope those a-holes get what they deserve.

Wow, that is too similar. I'm sorry you are having nightmares That story is a nightmare come true and nobody should have to go through it. I almost feel it would have been better had the Father gone along with his family, as morbid as that sounds. It is just heart wrenching and disgusting that this type of evil is around us.

This story is AWFUL and I do not know how this man has had the strength to go on. I think I would need to be in a mental institution of something.
I haven't been following the case or anything -- but reading the story, I don't understand the part about the wife going to the bank to withdraw the money and the teller testifying. She told the teller they were being held hostage...and then what? The teller thought it was a joke or something? Were police not notified?

The teller called the police.
They played the 911 tape on the news tonight.
She told them that the woman was in the banking withdrawing money because her husband and daughters were being held hostage. And if the cops were notified they would kill them
I'm with everyone else. I don't know how he gets up everyday.

I think he goes on every day to put away the scum that did this to his family.

That poor family. I can't even begin to imagine the terror and fear they felt in their final hours.
Prison is not good enough for those SOBs who did this awful crime. A slow painful death wouldn't be enough either.
I hope they suffer for all of eternity in Hell.

yeah this just doesn't make sense to me why would they even risk her going into the bank by herself??

This is disgusting. It's unthinkable that something like this could ever really happen in real life. It's really devestating to think that there are animals in this world that could take 3 innocent lives for $15,000. I'm truly saddened by this.

I think the husband was tied up in the basement but he managed to crawl upstairs & to his neighbors house without being caught.
What his family went through is my worst nightmare. Terrible
Hope he can have peace after the trial 
Those two POS really need to suffer for this one. Death penalty all the way. Burn them alive like how they killed the 2 girls! Pigs!

This case makes me want to vomit - this poor family. That one juror that was dismissed sounded like a nut - while this case seems pretty open and shut, you have to worry about some of these moronic jurors.

The jurors is what would scare me most in this trial. Some of them may not want the guilt of declaring someone guilty and having them get the death penalty. While I feel that it would be justified, a lot of people wouldn't want that on their conscience.

I am obsessed with watching and taping Nancy Grace. It was featured on her show last night and made me sick.
The graphic descriptions of the little girls body, the pic they kept showing of the dads face, the mugshots, everything.
They had rap shgeets a mile long. They are the perfect example of three strikes you are out.
The death penalty even seems too good for them.
