when dogs dream
i hate when i see hershey dreaming... it totally freaks me out when he twitches & makes little squealy noises lol
anyone else feel like this or am i the only freak??

I'm the same way. I'll even wake my dog up. I feel like he's having a bad dream when he does that, but of course, I have no way of knowing that.

I'm the same way. I'll even wake my dog up. I feel like he's having a bad dream when he does that, but of course, I have no way of knowing that.
I do the same thing.

My dog does this all the time... He will cry in the middle of the night. I usually wake him up and give him kisses (bc I'm nuts). I always wonder what hes dreaming about. Probably me hiding his toys on him.

I never wake my dog up. Whos to say that hes actually have a nightmare? Maybe hes chasing a cat and having a lot of fun

my dog barks with her mouth closed in her sleep.. which is very weird because she doesn't bark at all when she's awake.. go figure.
If she's just sleep barking & sleep running I leave her alone, but it's when her eyes are open and moving around while sleeping I wake her up.. the eyes freak me out!

We too. Mine was growling the other night while sleeping on the couch and when he woke up I asked who he was growling at......of course he didn't tell me

most of the time my dogs look like they are running or jumping -- sometimes i hear a faint dreaming bark! so, in that case I'll leave them. however, sometimes, they sound like they are upset --- crying, whining, etc. then i will wake them up. they have good and bad dreams just like us!

I leave her alone as long as she seems like she is sleeping comfortably, even if she's twitching...but if the eyes are rolling and she seems disturbed, then i wake her up and talk to her.

my dogs twitch and their eyes are open sometimes and they are rolling all around in their head.. it's freaky.. then they start with those little whimpering cries and i can't help but to talk calmly and say it's okay mama's here... and pet them and then they stop crying. I am a total dog lover of my two furbabies though.
