For my school (which IS a nyc school) there is no website. You just call in that morning - there's no even an answering machine so you are really forced to call in and speak to a human voice  That's just what you want to do after being up all night and finally about to fall asleep a half hour before you could call in  Sooo annoying.
I never heard of a website

We use sub central but I usually call the automated number.

we have to call my school and then sub central... you can do it on the web though- just type in sub central and you should be able to sign in if you have all your info

SUB Central has a website. I don't call anymore I use the site.
